Privacy Policy
Applies to the Android game Carful: Car Puzzle · Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains what information is and is not handled when you play Carful: Car Puzzle (the “Game”). It is written to match the data practices we declare on Google Play.
1. Information we do not collect
The Game has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other information that directly identifies you.
Your game progress (unlocked levels, best move counts, star ratings, settings, and whether the solution preview has been unlocked for a level) is stored only on your device. It is removed when you uninstall the Game. We cannot see it.
2. Information processed by the advertising SDK
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob (interstitial ads every few levels, and optional rewarded videos you may choose to watch to refill resets or undos, or to unlock the solution preview for a level). To deliver and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- your device’s advertising ID (a resettable identifier);
- device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language, and general settings;
- approximate location derived from your IP address (country / region level only);
- ad interaction data (which ads were requested, shown, or clicked) used for delivery, frequency capping, and reporting.
We do not receive or store this information ourselves. Google’s handling of it is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. The Game also processes limited usage data for its own analytics — see section 3.
3. Usage data we process to improve the Game
The Game uses Google Analytics for Firebase (Firebase Analytics) and Firebase Crashlytics, both provided by Google. They tell us which levels players get stuck on, and why the Game occasionally crashes. When you play, the following is processed:
- Level events: the number of the level you start (for example “87” — a number, not a name), how many moves you used, the star rating you earned, and whether you set a new best;
- App and device information: app version, device model, operating system version, language, and your device’s advertising ID;
- Crash reports: technical details about a crash or uncaught error (app version, device model, and where the error occurred) so we can find and fix the cause.
This data is used only in aggregate — to see where players struggle and to fix crashes. We do not sell it and we do not use it to build a profile of you. These events contain no name, no email address and no user ID, and they are not linked to your game progress, which stays on your device (section 1). Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in Firebase Privacy and Security.
4. Your choices and consent
- Personalized ads: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of personalized advertising, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by device).
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ad-related or analytics data is collected you are shown a consent message from Google’s User Messaging Platform. Advertising and usage analytics (section 3) are both limited to what your choice allows — if you decline, no analytics or crash data is collected. You may change your choice by clearing the Game’s data in Android Settings → Apps → Carful → Storage → Clear data; the consent message will be shown again on the next launch.
5. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising or analytics SDKs, please contact us and we will help you exercise the choices above.
6. Data retention and security
We keep no server-side database of players, so there is no personal data for us to retain or delete. Data collected by the advertising, analytics and crash-reporting SDKs is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and retained by Google according to its own policies — analytics event data is kept for up to 14 months by default.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be reflected in the Google Play listing.
